The Story of Pikkle Shikkle

The story of Pikkle Shikkle is, in many ways, the story of all of us.

It’s about saving ourselves from bullies, saving our food from boredom, and saving the simple joy of ghar ka khaana from getting lost in a world obsessed with fancy fine dining.

What began at home as a little indulgence for Mum, a jar of homemade pickles made with love, nostalgia and a whole lot of flavour, slowly became something much bigger. A dream. A way of keeping the tastes, stories and traditions we grew up with alive, while giving them a quirky little twist of their own.

At Pikkle Shikkle, we believe food doesn’t have to be complicated to be memorable. Sometimes, all it takes is a spoonful of pickle, a plate of dal chawal, and that familiar feeling of being home.

Today, we’re still making our pickles the way we love them: bold, playful, delicious and unapologetically homemade.

We hope our quirky pickles, jars of nostalgia and the stories behind them find their way into your hearts, your kitchens and, of course, onto your dining tables.

Because some flavours deserve to stay.
